The Hangzhou Asian Games Baseball (base) Sports and Culture Center is divided into two plots, with a total land area of 245 mu. One plot includes a baseball stadium (seating capacity of 5000), a baseball sub-field (fixed seating capacity of 1500+ temporary seating capacity of 1000), a training center and a physical training hall. Plot E contains a softball home field (1000 permanent seats + 1000 temporary seats) and a softball side field (500 temporary seats).
The pavilion is symbolized by the unique silk and scroll of Shaoxing. The facade of the building uses curved perforated aluminum plate as the main element. The steel structure membrane roof of the baseball and softball field, built by Ningbo Wanhao Space Structure Engineering Co., LTD., is not only used as the roof of the stadium, but also as the shelter of the platform and other activity places. The corrugated membrane structure on the top also reflects the sparkling characteristics of the Jiangnan water town.
