20,000 sqm PTFE-coated fabric Olympic Stadium Membrane Struture Roof Architecture with Large Spance Steel Structure Made by WANHAO.
PTFE is an excellence material for façades and roofing. PTFE, or polytetrafluoroethylene, is a Teflon®-coated woven fiberglass membrane that is extremely durable and weather resistant. The PTFE fiberglass membrane roof will provide fans with much-needed comfort and protection from the elements and allow daylight to reach the stadium’s tennis courts.
The roofing material of this project is highly self-cleaning PTFE membrane material, and the membrane structure has a total area of 20,000 square meters. The project has a total of 256 straddle overhangs, of which the maximum overhang is 32m and the minimum overhang is 4m. The middle is connected by an upward bracket arch, and the back is connected with aluminum plate, which is a conventional large-scale sports stadium.
At present, the steel structure of the project is nearing the end and the membrane structure is being installed.
